Este ano reaparece ainda com mais impacto após a apresentação da coleção haute fourrure da Fendi, criada por Karl Lagerfield. Mas Karl não foi o único! A ativista pelos direitos dos animais Stella McCartney, usou pela primeira vez peças em pele na apresentação da sua colecção FW15. Afinal a antipatia e a resistência à falsa pele, ou pele sintética, tornou-se demasiado fútil e o 'Fur Free Fur' passou a conceito. Nas palavras da estilista "modern fake fur looks so much like real fur, that the moment it leaves the atelier no one can tell it's not the real thing. And I've struggled with that. But I've been speaking to younger women about it recently and they don't even want real fur. So I feel like maybe things have moved on (...)". A pele pode ser usada no fabrico completo da peça, habitualmente casacos, mas os apliques nos bolsos, colarinhos, sapatos e bolsas ganharam destaque este ano.

The anti-fur activist Stella McCartney put faux fur on her catwalk for the first time this year. After all the antipathy and resistance to fake fur, or synthetic fur, seems futile and the 'Fur Free Fur' became a concept. "Modern fake fur looks so much like real fur, that the moment it leaves the studio no one can tell it's not the real thing. And I've struggled with that. But I've been speaking to younger women about it recently and they don't even want real fur. So I feel like maybe things have moved on (...)", she said. Fur can be used to manufacture the whole piece, such as overcoats, but gorgeous furry ornaments can be found in pockets, stoles, shoes and handbags.
